June 12 of 12

Another work day, though today is the 5th anniversary of GBI being in the "new" building, so that means a BBQ.

Course - as the official shopper, I needed to run to the store to buy all the various bits and bobs (minus the main entrees) that was needed for the food this afternoon. I still haven't gotten down the amount of quantity needed to feed the entire office. I'm just not used to shopping for more than 2, and 50 is certainly out of the question!

This morning though I did make a run over to the near by cache before work and dropped a geocoin I've held onto way to long. Imagine, if you will, two caches 500 feet apart and our office building smack in the middle. Work itself has 5 cachers that I know of, and the bank next door has another. Nice little metropolis we got going.

Dayton wasn't much interesting, same ol same ol, though I did see a grey Ninja ride by - Dad got a new bike and with the gas prices the way they are, motorcycles are starting to look enticing again.

Spent the day running around, enjoying BBQ, and working out in the storage shed as the File Room Supervisor is getting ready to purge the OLD films (seriously old, I've found films older than me!) but, by law, we're required to keep certain films for a certain period, so it's my job to go and look through all the jackets and pull out those that meet the qualifications. Wouldn't be so bad if the store room wasn't so HOT.

After work, I went for a walk to the store to get my exercise and medication all at once and then it's laundry day, so Bill and I headed over to the laundramat we like - mainly because of the arcade games and the multiple TVs. The lady who works there has gotten to know us and will change to the channel to what we want to watch (which was LOST before the season ended). Though now they got a new Cruise Exotica and we've figured out how to punch in a player ID, so now we're going nuts with this racing game. I usually come in last...

All in all a good day. See you next month!
